As a Software Engineering Associate - Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of a service delivery model supporting assigned platforms through a predefined framework. In particular, you will be involved in the development of quality assurance test cases/suites to validate and verify delivery of system artifacts in accordance with customer needs.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Document results accurately and reports results tactfully and concisely
- Exercise independent judgement within defined parameters to determine appropriate action.
- Log and track system flaws using the JIRA issue tracking system
- Work with a software development team and Service providers in a geographically distributed structure
- Provide coaching to Junior Associates
- Works independently on simple to medium complex projects.

**What we require**:

- B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required
- 3-5 years of software quality engineering experience
- Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can-do attitude
- Knowledge accessing relational databases (e.g. SQL scripting)
- Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results
- Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact with developers and product stakeholders globally
- Good experience on Mobile Apps Automation

Technical areas of expertise:

- Experience with test management systems (e.g. Jira Zephyr, HP ALM.).
- Experience on Selenium Web driver or Appium Framework.
- Knowledge on Basic JAVA programming.
- Strong background in test writing to provide full spectrum testing.
- Familiar with deployment strategies, including creation and oversight of multiple QA environments.
- Good to excellent written communication skills, including technical documentation
Practical experience with creation of, and adherence to, an agile development scheduled for testing.
- Background in working with product stakeholders to organize, develop and execute User Acceptance Tests.
- Experience with selecting/creating appropriate test data, and practiced at Structured Query Language (SQL) to validate system’s correct data handling.
