The Securities & Derivatives Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. This is a role within Market Operations team for Citibank IFSC branch setup in Gandhinagar Gujarat. The role will be part of the Backoffice operations team supporting the Market Business team. The incumbent require to work in close coordination with Trade and Loan ops teams to ensure a seamless front to back process and service offering. The Key responsibilities of the role would be - Work on day-to-day core operational activities relating to approved Treasury products (Borrowings, placements and FX Hedging). - Provide tactical support to business on day-to-day basis. - Cross functional activities supporting Loans, Trade and markets - Deliver on must win battles of global market operations in terms of productivity and manual touch point reduction. At the same time, maintain pristine control environment. - Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and Citi policies. Work closely with Risk & control functions to identify and timely highlight any risks / or exposure to Citi franchise due to any decision for change / or new practice and be agile in implementing the necessary actions. - Ensure clean audits and successful regulatory reviews. - Work with teams to put in place a robust Risk and control governance mechanism for specific KRI’s **Be part of the Organisational Transformation**: - Work on Key strategic projects to meet the organisation goals**.**: - Collaborate and support the delivery of strategic platform re-engineering initiatives, with conscious intent to standardize and industrial flow, reducing manual touch points and aligning tech delivery vs. business goal and wallet share optimization - Driving the implementation of initiatives to continuously improve STP rates and productivity, including the use of robotics, workflow and other innovative re-engineering techniques **Qualifications**: - 3-5 years of relevant experience - Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies - Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - A qualified Chartered accountant or holding an MBA from a reputed university - Creative, confident and professional person with high-levels of drive, ambition and enthusiasm - Self-driven and passionate - **Job Family Group**: Operations - Transaction Services - **Job Family**: Securities and Derivatives Processing - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
