**Job Purpose**

Will be responsible for the successful delivery ,planning, execution, and oversight of all Packet core and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network projects. This role will manage multiple projects across Nokia/Mavenir/Cisco Core and IMS technologies, ensuring alignment with company objectives, timelines, requirements. Will lead a team of engineers, project managers, and network specialists, providing direction and strategic guidance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of core network and IMS infrastructure.

**Key Result Areas/Accountabilities**

**Delivery of CORE Project & Execution**:
Oversee end-to-end management of all Packet core and IMS network projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet quality and interacting with Cross functional teams like SNOC,COG,CODE.

Define and manage project scope, milestones, resources, risks, and deliverables.

Develop timelines and work plans, allocating resources effectively to meet project objectives.

**Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration**:
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, risks, and solutions.

Work closely with product management, network engineering, finance, and operations teams to align on project priorities and business objectives.

Maintain communication with vendors and partners, ensuring smooth integration of technology and adherence to SLAs.

**Technical Oversight**:
Provide technical guidance for both packet core and IMS infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Lead efforts to integrate IMS functionalities, such as VoLTE, VoWiFi, and RCS, within core network infrastructure.

Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to enhance network performance, reliability, and scalability.

Conduct regular reviews of network and IMS architectures, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring high network availability.

**Risk Management & Compliance**:
Identify potential risks to project timelines, budgets, and outcomes, implementing mitigation strategies proactively.

Ensure that all projects comply with regulatory, security, and corporate standards.

Monitor project performance metrics, reporting key outcomes and ensuring continuous improvements.

**Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in packet core, IMS, and telecom networks, with a strong understanding of core network and IMS architectures.
- Proven track record of managing complex telecom projects, preferably within the Nokia Core and IMS environments.
- Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and lead diverse technical teams.
- Deep understanding of packet core and IMS technologies, including EPC, 5G core, IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi, RCS, and related protocols.
