**Key Roles & Responsibilities**

**Visual Brand Development**
- Design compelling marketing materials including brochures, product catalogues and packaging, and social media promotional content for IoT hardware products & services.
- Create engaging social media graphics, digital advertisements, and website visuals that communicate complex IoT concepts.
- Develop user interface elements for companion mobile apps and web platforms supporting our IoT devices.

**Product & Marketing Support**
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to create technical documentation, user manuals, and product specification sheets.
- Design presentation materials for investor pitches, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Create infographics and visual content that explain IoT benefits and features to diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and persuasive content that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our target audience.

**Brand Consistency & Digital Presence**
- Maintain visual consistency across all brand touch points and marketing channels.
- Assist in developing brand guidelines and design systems for scalable growth.
- Utilize photos and video editing software to create visually captivating multimedia content for digital marketing campaigns, maintaining a consistent and appealing visual aesthetic.

**Cross-functional Collaboration**
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams in a startup environment.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for product launches and campaigns.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

**Requirements and Skill-set**

**Essential Experience & Skills**
- **Minimum 1 year** of professional graphic design experience, preferably in D2C, E-commerce, IoT technology or startup environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in both digital and print design.
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, and visual hierarchy.

**Technical Proficiency**
- Advanced skills in **Adobe Creative Suite, Generative AI tools** (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Proficiency in **Figma** for UI/UX design and collaborative workflows.
- Basic knowledge of **HTML/CSS** and responsive design principles.
- Experience with **Canva** and other quick-design platforms.

**DEAL-BREAKER: AI Tools Mastery (mandatory)**
- **Demonstrated expertise in AI-powered design tools is non-negotiable**:

- Proficiency in **Adobe Firefly** and **Adobe Sensei** for generative design and automated workflows.
- Experience with **AI text-to-image generation** tools like Midjourney, DALL-E, or Stable Diffusion.
- Knowledge of **prompt engineering** for AI design tools and content generation.
- Familiarity with **Canva Magic Studio**, **Designs.ai**, or similar AI-enhanced design platforms.
- Understanding of AI automation for repetitive design tasks and batch processing.

**Additional Requirements**
- Strong communication skills and ability to present design concepts effectively.
- Understanding of startup dynamics and willingness to wear multiple hats.
- Basic knowledge of IoT ecosystem, smart devices, and technology trends (preferred).
- Ability to work independently while being collaborative in team settings.
