Lakhotia College of Design is seeking a dedicated and experienced faculty member to join our dynamic team in the Department of Fashion Design. This position focuses on teaching and guiding students in the art of **pattern making and garment construction**, preparing them for careers in the fashion industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Instructional Leadership**:

- Conduct hands-on demonstrations and practical sessions to enhance student learning.
- Foster a creative and collaborative learning environment that inspires students to excel in their craft.
- **Student Mentorship**:

- Provide individualized guidance and mentoring to students on their projects and assignments.
- Support students in developing technical skills and understanding industry standards.
- **Course Development**:

- Update and refine course materials to reflect current trends, technologies, and industry practices.
- Integrate sustainable and ethical practices into the curriculum where applicable.
- **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other faculty members and departments to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Work closely with industry professionals to stay updated on industry demands and integrate real-world experiences into the curriculum.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and accreditation processes as required.
- Assist in student recruitment, admissions, and portfolio reviews.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, Apparel Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in pattern making and garment construction, with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical expertise.
- Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level or relevant industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of CAD software and digital pattern making tools is an advantage.
- Passion for educating and mentoring aspiring fashion designers, with a commitment to fostering student success.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,195.70 - ₹42,363.29 per month
