Product Designer-home Decor and Glasware

Key Responsibilities:

- Design new collections of physical products in categories such as glass jars, decorative trays, candle holders, and bathroom accessories
- Develop detailed 3D renderings, technical drawings, and product specs for manufacturing
- Understand material properties (glass, metal, wood, ceramic) and incorporate them into product designs
- Coordinate with production, merchandising, and sourcing teams to ensure feasibility and cost-efficiency
- Work closely with international buyers and merchandisers to align with trend forecasts and market demands
- Research international home décor trends and translate them into practical, sellable products
- Create mockups and prototypes in collaboration with sampling and R&D teams

**Required Skills**:

- Proficiency in 3D modeling tools like Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or KeyShot
- Strong hand sketching and ideation ability
- Understanding of industrial design and manufacturing processes for home décor and utility products
- Ability to work on multiple product lines and meet tight timelines
- Knowledge of finishing techniques - mercury, spray color, frosted, decals, textures, etc.
- Familiarity with materials used in export markets (glass, metal, wood, ceramic)

Eligibility Criteria:

- Degree/Diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Applied Arts
- Portfolio of physical product designs is mandatory (no digital interface designs)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
