**Title: US Government Contract Proposal or Grant Writer**

We are seeking a **Proposal or Grant Writer** proficient in the Government arena to work closely with our Director. This individual will help the Director with planning, organizing, writing, examining, and revising government proposals.

As the Government Writer, you would be responsible for analyzing RFP requirements and developing compliance matrixes, proposal schedules, outlines, and kickoff materials.

This would be an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating proposal materials and is looking for a big break in the government space.

**Experience**:

- Knowledge working in the Federal Government / DOD space
- Previous experience in Business, Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
- 1 to 2 years of Proposal / Grant Writing experience (RFPs, SSNs, RTOPs, RFIs etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
- APMP membership, certification, or equivalent experience

**Responsibilities**:

- Designing and creating responses to RFPs.
- Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs
- Studying requests for proposal (RFPs); attending strategy meetings.
- Notices (SSNs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Task Order Proposals (RTOPs), etc.
- Improves proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate; implementing changes.
- Copyediting proposal content, including reviewing for compliance, accuracy, and completeness.
