**Mission (Why does this role exist?) and Scope (About the Job)****:
Responsible for leading a team of Associate Designers and Senior Designers to deliver high quality projects on time
To be effective in this role, you must be strong technically, with high organizational skills, and persuasive communication skills

**Key Responsibilities and Outcomes (What the Person needs to accomplish in the role ?)****:
**1. Team Management****:

- Performance monitoring and optimum utilization of resources
- Guides and mentors, the team as SME in CAD / Solar
- Conducting Technical Trainings
- Maintaining team moral
- Be hands-on and lead the team showing technical expertise on CAD / Solar projects

**2. Delivery Management****:

- Monitors and manages project performance, scope, quality, risks and schedule for all assigned projects
- Prepares and maintains detailed project schedules
- Prepares progress reports on a daily, weekly or as per need basis
- Validates, updates and maintains all project documents

**3. Quality management****:

- Should be able to do quality check.
- Should be able to create processes i.e. use of checklist to control consistent quality and process adherence.
- Should be able to maintain quality and suggest actions for quality improvement

**4. Interdepartmental coordination****:

- Supports management and does effective client engagement
- Coordinates with other teams for technical updates and new strategies.

**Requirements****:

- Ability to design PV systems at 11/22/33/66 kV power levels
- Has knowledge in Aurora and AutoCAD
- Has knowledge in electrical design concepts
- Exposure to Solar Design (US region) is must
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel

**Qualifications: Education, Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Behaviour) and Experience****:
**Minimum Qualifications****:

- B. Tech. - Electrical/ Civil/ Mechanical

**Experience****:

- 4 to 6 years of experience in CAD and Engineering services industry
- At least 0.5 - 1 year direct work experience in project/ team lead capacity
