**Job Title**: Commercial Vehicle Technician**Department**: Service / Maintenance**Location**: Nagpur/Chandrapur/Bhandara/Yavatmal **Reports to**: Workshop Manager / Service Head**Company**: Bharat Benz (Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd.)**Job Purpose**:
To perform diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles (trucks and buses) in accordance with manufacturer standards, ensuring vehicle safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:1. **Vehicle Diagnostics & Repair**:

- Conduct thorough diagnostics using tools and scan equipment to identify faults.
- Perform repair and replacement of components (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, etc.).
- Adhere to manufacturer service procedures and timelines.

2. **Preventive Maintenance & Inspection**:

- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and safety checks.
- Inspect and test systems such as steering, suspension, and braking systems to ensure roadworthiness.

3. **Technical Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate job cards, service records, and checklists.
- Report additional faults or safety concerns found during inspection.
- Provide feedback to supervisors regarding recurring technical issues.

4. **Workshop Safety & Compliance**:

- Follow workshop safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Ensure tools and diagnostic equipment are properly maintained.
- Comply with company SOPs, ISO/TS standards, and environmental norms.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong understanding of diesel engines and commercial vehicle systems.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and service manuals.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.

**Educational Qualification**:

- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
- Additional OEM certifications (preferably from Daimler / Bharat Benz) will be an advantage.

**Experience**:

- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial vehicle servicing (Buses/Trucks)
- Experience with BS6 vehicles and electronic control systems preferred.

**Working Conditions**:

- Workshop / Field Service role with occasional travel.
- Flexible to work in shifts and extended hours during peak service times.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
