**Careers that Change Lives **Main Purpose: - To achieve territory growth targets for specified therapies by initiating and developing key implanters, implant centres, referral networks and educating patient influencers / support groups. - To execute strategic sales activities undertaken as part of a Business Planning model. - Provide surgical coverage, follow-up support and troubleshooting for Neuromodulation therapy, product and therapy training and education to new and existing centres and leverage customer contact at implant to grow the existing business/accounts. - To ensure that the Company’s agreed quality standards are maintained with regard to its products, procedures, policies, operations and customer contact. **A Day in the Life **Revenue Responsibility** - Responsible for achieving sales target in terms of product units and revenue and increase total company market share in assigned territory. - Support in creating and implementing an annual business plan with quarterly updates. - Ensure coverage of all accounts on the basis of customer segmentation within territory in agreement with the manager to maintain optimum level of exposure. - Maintain and expand existing business and develop new business opportunities. **Business Management** - Seek new customers and formulate and follow up plans for such action as directed by the Sales Manager. - Work with existing key implant centres to develop and implement strategies to move accounts towards technical self-sufficiency. - Develop Sales strategies and execute same within the Sales Force Effectiveness model. - Conduct required training for new accounts on all therapies. - Sell specified therapies to physicians, institutions, payers and other medical staff. **Customer Management** - Provide surgical case coverage, follow-up support and troubleshooting for all Neuro therapies in the assigned Territory. - Conduct customer in-services for new and existing accounts. - Develop relationships with physicians and hospital administration staff to ensure both clinical and non-clinical needs are identified and met. - Develop ethical, positive long-term customer relationships. - Satisfy customer complaints in accordance with Medtronic policy and to advise Sales Manager promptly of any situation beyond scope of authority. **Reporting** - Gather and communicate input from field to management regarding market trends, customer satisfaction, competition, and product issues. - Conduct Consignment counts as required by Product and Inventory Management. - Provide Sales Forecast data to Sales Manager upon request and in a timely manner. - Stay attentive to competitor’s product and merchandizing practices and to keep the Regional Sales Manager and Medtronic informed concerning them. **Miscellaneous Functions** - Acquire and maintain comprehensive clinical and technical product and therapy knowledge. - Acquire knowledge about processes in the organization around marketing events request, product donation and discount request. - Responsible to participate around his/her Individual Development Plan in consultation with the manager - Adheres to Medtronic policies and conducts all business in an ethical manner. - Observe all health and safety policies and procedures and take all reasonable care that actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of others. **Must Have - **Minimum Requirements** **Education - B Sc (Any Sciences)/BE - MBA would be preferred - Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software. **Relevant prior Experience and Knowledge **which will be useful in current role - **At least 3 to 6 years **sales experience in a technical and dynamic environment. - Experience in delivering health related in-service or similar type training and education - Proven sales and negotiations experience - Success in developing new markets - Experience in making multiple sales calls on a daily basis - Willing to travel extensively **PERFORMANCE SKILLS **Skills required for successful performance in this Role **Communication skills and Interpersonal skills - Good verbal communicator and presenter - Good command over English and Regional language - Professional presentation and "Presence" - Professional standard of written and verbal communication to sales team and customers - Ability to quickly establish credibility with all levels of customer base - People and Relationship building Skills including Networking Skills **Analytical - Logical approach & reasoning skills while analyzing competition & market trends. - Strong Analytical ability during customer/patient call. - Ability to deal with ambiguity & persevere to resolve situation at hand **Business partnership - Customer focused: Should have an ability to engage the customers & partner to ramp up business support at the same time being able to deliver value. - Demonstrated grit in handling challenging customers. - Good influencing and convincing skills - Ability to work eff
