General Summary:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Digital Cockpit Systems Design Design Realization Assist in deriving the design and product verification methodology
- Assist in Project planning for end-to-end Digital Cockpit Designs Assist in Product certification and Homologation
- Lead the architecture discussions for SW components and directly interface with customers in deploying the QC solutions
- Continuously evolve and support customer requirements gathering process and traceability flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geographically separate/virtual teams across QC engineering centers.
- Lend technical expertise in engaging with Automotive OEMs to offer the right solution, determine/decide the right architecture and approach for the customer requirements
- Support the internal team architecturally and design-wise, where necessary to mentor and support the team in delivering critical deliverables
- Measure and optimize the Cockpit System to achieve the best performance in a virtualized Multi-OS configuration.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualcomm Automotive Team is looking for a Senior Technical Lead who can make difference on many technology forefronts in the Automotive space, join our growing multisite engineering organization
- 12-18+ years of Hands-On Experience in Digital Cockpit Products
- Strong Embedded design, development, and debugging skills Strong C/C++ Programming skills on Heterogenous compute platforms comprising of multi-core ARM CPU Platform, GPUs, DSPs
- Deep working knowledge of Digital Cockpit system design and Middleware development Should have gone through several iterations of end-to-end Digital Cockpit product development cycles
- Deep understanding of Digital Cockpit System Test and Verification Deep understanding of various SOP certification needs, including but not limited to Homologation and Mobile Projection Technologies (Apple CarPlay, Google Auto, etc.), Bluetooth certification, WiFi certification, etc.
- Background in project planning, and a deep understanding of the various activities involved in deploying a Digital Cockpit Product Exposure to functional safety architecture to meet ISO26262 standards. Strong understanding of ARM processor architecture fundamentals
- Strong understanding of QNX/Linux operating system and hands-on experience with QNX/Linux device driver development Prior experience of architecting/designing/developing Cockpit SW (Cluster/HUD/IVI/ADAS) Working knowledge with CAN and various automotive sensors-accommodationsupport
