Skills Required:
Embedded C, UML/ Design Patterns

Good knowledge of SOLID Principles and C++ Design Patterns, OOAD, OOPS Concept

Good knowledge of Model Driven Architecture and OO concepts.

Good knowledge of UML and hands on experience with static and dynamic modelling.

Good knowledge of design patterns.

Hands on experience with Rhapsody / Doors.

Basic understanding of model based code generation.

Knowledge of BSW and ASW Layer concepts

Experience of protocols CAN, UDS, J1939, SPI, I2C & Debugging tools like Lauterbach etc.

Experience in OTA, GSM and GNSS

Experience in resource management and performance optimization in static scheduling embedded systems and RTOS

Knowledge on Telematics products would be an added advantage

SDLC with agile methodologies.

Automotive quality standards (ASPICE)

Excellent written and spoken English language communication skills.

Proven ability to solve complex problems in a structured and analytical manner.

Job Responsibilities

Software Architect will be responsible for planning and overseeing all phases of software development by designing, documenting and implementing software architecture for Automotive tachograph projects.

Derive SW architecture from SW requirements.

Use proven SW architecture methodologies and processes.

Logically breakdown SW requirements and identify discrete functionality.

Derive module interfaces and responsibilities and document using UML.

Assign and trace SW requirements.

Estimate the impact of the changes on the system.

Provide high level design solutions for development.

Understand various system related legislative requirements.

Participate/lead design and test reviews.

Experience in designing/programming in an embedded environment using C platforms in a memory constrained system with 16/32 bit and Muticore microcontroller with hard real time requirements
