**Overall Expectation**
- 15+ years relevant experience in 3G / 4G/ 5G Wireless baseband development, design, architecting
- Strong capability demonstrated in multi-core system level architecting / design
- Experience developing in C for a DSP platform (Freescale, TI, Intel or others) for Wireless baseband - 3G/4G SW and for multi-core / multi-DSP deployment.
- Other C/C++ programming experience requiring high performance and/or low level hardware control (e.g. games, drivers) will be valuable.
- Solid experience on architecture, design and implementation of the physical layer of one or more of the following wireless communication standards: 5GNR, 5GTF, LTE, UMTS, GSM, TD-SCDMA, WiMAX etc.
- Knowledge and experience using DSP/platform intrinsics for code-optimization for cycles and performance
- Strong debugging and system triaging skills either for a base station or multi-UE emulator product

**Must have**
- 8-10 years in LTE, LTE-Advanced or other Wireless baseband development
- Strong 3GPP LTE specification (Rel-11 and above) knowledge
- Solid and proven software development skills and coding practices in embedded C/C++. Proficient in C/C++ and Linux/RTOS/Windows based development
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must have effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a structured, solution oriented and open minded working environment
- Strong business verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and guide the technical team for complex architecture/design

**Desirable Skills**
- Python usage, jira usage and teamcity experience
- Possess a high level understanding of Layer 2 and 3 of 3GPP Releases
- Familiar with product triaging and interacting with Level 2/Level 1 support engineers
- Agile methodology way of working
