- **Job description**:
Short term sequencing - Review the production plan to prepare 3 day dropping plan and keep readiness for 15 days plan - Conduct checks and verfiy BoM, Material availability and kit parts, local parts and other inputs for preparing a robust plan - Resolve queries from all stakeholders and communicate to ensure smooth operations - Track constraints, changes in requirements and sales plans and revise the master schedule - Fulfill Sales commitments and track any urgent deliveries 2. Oversee Production Steering for all shops on daily basis - Ensure and monitor the 3 day production cycle planning process - Ensure steering as per the dropping plan; Issue the dropping plan to the concerned stakeholders to ensure sequencing of vehicles for internal logistics and suppliers; Coordinate and clarify any changes in the plan - Oversee the release and scheduling of the jobs on SAP/other systems - Liaise with Production on communication of daily plans and resolve queries 3. Digitalization & automation - Undertake initiatives for simplification and Digitalization of PPC tools - Participate in cross functional teams to provide inputs on business; to develop automation solutions; towards support in coding and programming - Provide inputs for various developments like Digitalized solutions for scheduling, short term and medium term planning, linkage with supplier system, etc. Use and develop INSIGHTS tool developed inhouse 4. Documentation and tracking of KPIs logistics - Prepare WIP reports to track production delays, and identify bottlenecks 5. Other activities - Participate in internal audits, various logistics projects, new product introduction projects and liase with project team for smooth coordination and timely introduction - Coordinate with overseas stakeholders on replenishment of parts - Liase with ExIm, Warehouse teams for commerical topics like Purchase order release (kits), material scrapping etc.
