The Billers (Bill Pay) team provides cutting edge solutions to large Institutions, Utilities and other organizations Bill Payment services to their consumers. The product team works towards building product road maps and feature enhancement and & functionalities to provide a Gateway-to-Gateway solutions which are PCI-compliant enabling our clients billing and payments to raise satisfaction, meet shifting preferences and drive on-time payments.
**Job Description**:
- Partner with Product Managers/Owners to clearly define and document user needs through workshops and interviews and assist in developing clear, concise user stories that effectively communicate requirements with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Analyze and document systems and processes using diagrams/process flows and narratives to clearly describe product features, use cases.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the technical and functional architecture of assigned systems and their integration with other systems
- You will also provide technical support to clients and troubleshoot any API-related issues. To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience with API development and integration, as well as experience using API platforms and tools
- Manage the end-to-end process for developing, testing, and deploying APIs
- Provide technical support to clients and troubleshoot any API-related issues
- Analyze business requirements and make recommendations on API solutions
- Research and evaluate new and emerging API technologies and platforms
- Develop and document API standards and best practices
- Monitor API performance and provide ongoing maintenance and support
- Work with development teams to create API and SDK documentation guides
- Assist Product Managers/Owners with backlog grooming and prioritization.
- Provide testing support and guidance during all testing phases of software development releases.
- Improve internal and external documentation surrounding our data products and support process.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in the role of a technical business Analyst in requirement gathering and gap analysis. Detail oriented with strong analysis and documentation skills a must.
- Experience must include at least 2 years of experience with the following: API, RESTful Webservices, SOAP; JIRA, JSON, XML; Software Development Life Cycle methodology; and Agile, Postman, Soap UI
- 3+ years of experience in creating client facing documentation and guides.
- 3+ years of experience in the analysis, design, configuration, implementation, and support of business/financial or clinical information systems, or three years as an expert user of targeted systems
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills with an ability to address audiences at all levels of the organization and clearly respond to questions from business users.
- Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Visio; entry level MS SQL skills a plus.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma or other project and design tools desired.
Highly Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in payments industry, card corporations, software solutions, banks and or fintech corporations.
- Knowledge of security standards and compliance in the payment industry (PCI-DSS).
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA)
**Education**:
- BE, BTech Comp Science, BTech Electronics, BE / BTech IT, Business Information Systems, or MSc Comp Sc, MCA
