**Job Description for Administrative Associate (HR & Finance)**
This is a full-time, entry-level position designed for freshers or those with prior internship or project experience. You'll work at the intersection of **people operations, basic finance, and administrative systems**—supporting the internal health and structure of Chess Gaja behind the scenes.
**Shift Details**
- **Work Timing**: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM (To be confirmed after the probation period)
- **Work Days**: Wednesday to Monday (Tuesday is the weekly off; final schedule will be decided post-probation)
- **Probation Period**: 3 months (regular working hours during this time)
- **Job Type**: Full-time
- **Salary Range**: ₹16,000 to ₹18,000 _(Includes a yearly retention bonus as part of the compensation)_

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in documentation and data entry

- A team player who can work with coaches, operations, and leadership

- Interest in people management, finance processes, and business systems
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain and update employee records and coach databases
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for team members and contractors
- Track leave, attendance, and time logs for payroll and compliance
- Support payroll preparation and coordinate with accounting personnel
- Record expense reports, vendor payments, and invoices in internal systems
- Help maintain operational data and backend updates for HR and finance dashboards
- Coordinate documentation required for statutory compliance (e.g., invoices, agreements)
- Support internal communication efforts like policy updates and HR announcements
- Collaborate with the leadership team on performance tracking and documentation
**You Have**
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic understanding of finance, accounting, or HR concepts
- Confidence in using tools like Google Sheets, Trello, and project trackers
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently in a hybrid setup
- A proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative
- Comfort with tech and eagerness to learn new platforms
- Clear communication and documentation skills
**We Can Train You On**:
- Internal HR workflows, leave management, and onboarding practices
- Tools like CRM, Trello, QuickBooks alternatives, and our LMS
- Basics of payroll, invoice tracking, and expense reconciliation
- Process documentation, dashboards, and internal audit support
- Foundational understanding of a growing education-focused organization
