Team Supervision:
Lead, train, and oversee warehouse staff (e.g., pickers, packers, loaders).

Delegate tasks and set daily goals.

Monitor employee performance and conduct evaluations.

Manage scheduling and shift assignments.

Inventory Management:
Ensure accurate receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods.

Perform regular stock checks and cycle counts.

Oversee inventory records and ensure they are updated in the warehouse management system (WMS).

Operational Efficiency:
Plan and organize warehouse layout for optimized space usage.

Improve processes to enhance productivity and reduce errors.

Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as picking/packing rates, error rates, and shipping times.

Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all safety protocols and regulations (e.g., OSHA standards) are followed.

Conduct safety drills and provide staff training on proper handling and equipment use.

Maintain cleanliness and organization to avoid hazards.

Equipment Management:
Oversee the maintenance and usage of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).

Schedule routine maintenance and repairs.

Logistics Coordination:
Manage inbound and outbound shipments.

Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments.

Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
