Wholesale Lending External Reporting-associate

As the External Reporting professional in our Commercial Banking Team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

Job responsibilities
- Engage in timely and accurate reporting to the FDIC per the Commercial Loss Share Arrangement, supporting the Schedule Owner
- Facilitate and participate in implementation efforts for the various requirements including setting up a thoughtful operating model across Wholesale Credit Risk, Lending Services and External Reporting
- Develop, test, and implement reports or analytics on system supported architecture such as FRI, CRI, BPC, etc.
- Provide senior level communication on technology and strategic initiatives
- Respond to SOX, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Audit (JPMC Internal & PWC) teams and provide support, information, and analytics as needed
- Respond and support responses to wholesale lending related ad-hoc requests and/or inquiries from senior management and bank regulators
- Develop and maintain critical partnerships with Risk, Operations, Policy and Legal to help understand thoughtful implementations and ongoing expertise in analysis

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- CPA or equivalent professional credential
- 4-8 years of professional experience
- 3+ years of experience in external reporting, in banking industry
- Experience with SAP, CDGL, BPC, Essbase, FRI/CRI/CRRT a plus
- Proficiency with data profiling and data analysis toolset/visualization e.g., Alteryx, Xceptor, databases, SQL or similar query language, Abacus query, and dashboard creation using Tableau

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Flexibility to work under pressure to meet changing work requirements and strict deadlines, including working certain weekends during quarter end reporting cycles
- Ability to effectively prioritize competing deadlines and requests and effective at building relationships across functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex and sensitive issues to management in a concise and persuasive manner
- Proven skills in identifying and solving control issues that may impact external reporting and mindset of continuously looking for ways to do things more effectively and efficiently
