**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Position**: Consultant - Internal Medicine / Emergency Medicine
**Department**: General Medicine / Emergency Services
**Location**: Noble Hospital, Kundli
**Reports To**: Medical Director / HOD - Medicine
**Qualification**: MD / DNB in Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
**Experience**: 0-5 years post-PG preferred
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Clinical Care**:

- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in adults.
- Provide comprehensive care to patients admitted to general wards, ICU, MICU, or emergency.
- Conduct daily rounds for inpatients and ensure appropriate treatment is given.
- Attend emergency calls and lead the Code Blue team if required.
- **Outpatient Services**:

- Conduct OPD consultations and follow-up care.
- Coordinate patient investigations and referrals to other specialties when required.
- **Emergency Medicine Duties**:

- Evaluate and stabilize critically ill patients in the Emergency Department.
- Make timely decisions in high-pressure emergencies.
- Collaborate with trauma, surgical, and other specialty teams for multidisciplinary care.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Guide and supervise junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff.
- Participate in training programs and clinical case discussions.
- **Patient & Family Communication**:

- Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, and prognoses to patients and their families.
- Counsel families regarding lifestyle modification, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.

**Required Skills & Competencies**
- Sound clinical acumen and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of emergency protocols and ICU procedures
- Proficiency in hospital software/EMR is an added advantage
- Commitment to continuous learning and medical ethics

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹60,744.79 - ₹182,808.50 per month
