- Proficient in mechanical drawing reading.
- Execution of Machines load plan and DLH recovery
- Control of shift as per rolling shift plan
- Hand on Experience in machine operations
- Software Knowledge of NX CAM, Soilidworks will be added advantage etc
- In depth knowledge of cutting tools used in heavy machine shop.
- Knowledge of machine setup elements and methods.
- Knowledge of machine accessories, jigs, fixture and attachments
- Review in advance tooling for procurement and technical evaluation
- Provide Technical support to machining activities at Shop floor.
- Lead Machining process improvement and cycle time reduction
- Training and implementation of best manufacturing practices
- Ensure Parts are made as per Quality and Design Requirement
- Willing to work in different shift models along with shift team
- Monitor, coordinate and establish deliveries of machined parts, Achieve production plan
- Proficient in dealing with technicians and operators
- Able to Reduce and produce solution to Shop non conformity control ( NCR & COPQ)
- Coordination of Machine breakdown repair with maintenance
- 5S & Visual management
- Intra Department coordination
- Safety regulation adherence
- Implementation of defined manufacturing process, SOP, special instructions.
- Daily work allotment to team and target setting of work
- Plan vs actual hours control and controlling on the job (Productivity)
- Expedite machining process to achieve OTD
- Use of proper tools and fixture for machining (Inventory)
- Control of Idle time & improve Cycle time reduction (Recovery)
- Updating of daily production report and loading plan
- Following regulation/QMS procedures/Manufacturing Instructions in the Machine shop
- Safety regulation adherence
- CNC Machine supervisor for Machine Shop division, who has Dedicated role for handling machine shop in shifts with conventional & CNC machines which includes Turning centres - Horizontal and Vertical, Horizontal Boring machines and 5 Axis Horizontal Machine.
