Applicants Must be **Graduates/Post Graduates in Psychology and Diploma in Counseling with 3 plus years of experience**

**Role & responsibilities**

1. Managing Behavioral issues among students - Identification of the root cause & planning for improvement, in consultation with parents.

2. Managing Psychological issues among students - Identification of the serious cases & planning for the same, in consultation with parents.

3. Conduct session with group of students (class wise or section wise) to improve communication concerns & discipline.

4. Consults, facilitates, and maintains communication with parents, teachers and school authority on specific student and parent academic and educational matters including academic modifications and/or interventions required.

5. Assessment of the progress of the students under observation & report preparation.

6. Advises and counsels students regarding academic, educational, and short-term social and emotional problems.

7. Teaches guidance classes and provides guidance counseling to students through planned activities in small group or classroom settings to convey educational, social, and important school information, and offers workshops/seminars for parents.

8. Provides feedback and recommends appropriate action and solutions to individual students academic and educational needs and abilities.

9. Motivating the students for higher goals & better living.

10. Needs to ensure school discipline and classroom discipline

11. Needs to take special assembly, workshops and parent interactions
- Should have excellent command over spoken English.
- Proven track record in counselling for 3+ years (preferably in any of the reputed School).
- Desire and ability to work with students at the specified age level with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability toward accomplishing their educational goals.
- Ability to organize tasks and manage time to meet many and varied deadlines and communicate effectively with students, parents, school authority and teachers, including the ability to discuss topics which may be sensitive.
- Working familiarity with student assessment tools, especially in evaluating and interpreting standardized test results.
- Knowledge of computer
