**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and create visually appealing and user-friendly websites, landing pages, and user interfaces.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize the layout, structure, and functionality of websites.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are accurately implemented and responsive across all devices.
- Ensure the website design aligns with the brand’s identity, style guides, and goals.
- Implement design changes and updates as needed based on feedback or evolving needs.
- Create and optimize website graphics and visuals to improve page load times and overall user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with current web design trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve the website design.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design for mobile and tablet platforms.
- Troubleshoot design and layout issues to ensure consistency and functionality.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, etc.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic understanding of front-end development is preferred.
- Experience with responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web design and UI/UX design.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and accessibility standards.
- Understanding of web analytics and conversion optimization techniques.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in web design or a related role.
