**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Freight Operations Management**:

- Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of goods via air, sea, and land.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws.
- **Shipping Line Coordination**:

- Maintain strong relationships with shipping lines and transport companies to secure the best rates and services.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements with freight carriers.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Ensure adherence to import/export regulations and compliance standards.
- **Cost Optimization**:

- Evaluate shipping routes and costs to propose the most efficient solutions.
- Monitor freight budgets and reduce logistics costs where possible.
- **Client Interaction**:

- Communicate with clients regarding shipment schedules, status updates, and delivery timelines.
- Address and resolve any freight-related issues promptly.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with internal departments such as procurement, sales, and warehouse teams for seamless logistics coordination.
- Support team members in managing freight inquiries and operations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
- Understanding of INCOTERMS, customs clearance processes, and international shipping procedures.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication to liaise with clients and shipping partners effectively.
- **Analytical Skills**: Ability to analyze and optimize logistics operations.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong problem-solving skills to handle freight issues and delays.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in the rice import-export sector is highly desirable.
- Existing network and contacts within shipping lines and transport companies.
- Certification in Supply Chain or Freight Forwarding (e.g., FIATA diploma).

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
