Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts specific to retail operations, including inventory, sales, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Monitor daily retail sales and cash receipts; ensure proper recording in the accounting system.
- Reconcile point-of-sale (POS) systems with accounting software and bank deposits.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements related to retail performance.
- Track inventory levels and work with store managers to ensure accuracy between physical counts and recorded inventory.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics such as gross margin, shrinkage, and turnover rate.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities for retail divisions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting principles.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits, particularly for retail-related items.
- Process and review vendor invoices and payments related to merchandise purchases. Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and POS systems. (+2,bsc,diploma,all graduates are applicable for this job role)

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
