
Retails Chief Sales Officer

As the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales strategy and execution of our organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the recruitment and management of retail sales personnel and channel partners, creating and implementing sales campaigns, generating leads across multiple territories, developing business plans, conducting market analysis through client and channel partner interactions, and devising comprehensive training modules to empower the sales team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Recruitment and Maintenance**:
- Assist in the recruitment and retention of retail sales personnel.
- Assist in the recruitment and management of channel partners to expand our market reach.
**Reporting**:
- Report directly to the Managing Director (MD) on sales activities, performance metrics, and strategies.
- Oversee the reporting process of retail sales personnel and channel partners, ensuring accurate and timely data collection.
**Sales Campaign Management**:
- Develop and execute sales campaigns to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Monitor and optimize campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
**Lead Generation**:
- Implement strategies to generate leads offline across various territories, identifying potential customers and opportunities for business expansion.
**Business Plan Development**:
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop comprehensive business plans aligned with organizational goals and market trends.
**Market Understanding**:
- Conduct regular meetings with clients and channel partners to gather insights into market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Utilize gathered intelligence to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives.
**Sales Training**:
- Develop sales training modules covering product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship management.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in the solar energy industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business growth.
- Deep understanding of sales processes and best practices, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform decision-making.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
**Salary**: ₹100,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
