A Commis 1, also known as a prep cook, is a member of a culinary team who prepares, cooks, and serves food under the guidance of more experienced chefs. Their responsibilities include:

- Food preparation: Preparing ingredients, cooking, and plating dishes
- Quality control: Ensuring food quality and consistency, and meeting agreed standards
- Sanitation and cleaning: Following sanitation and cleaning procedures, and ensuring work stations are properly sanitized
- Inventory: Monitoring stock movement, requisitioning items, and accepting and storing deliveries
- Kitchen maintenance: Performing daily and weekly activities such as temperature checks, food labeling, and storage
- Kitchen safety: Removing hazards and reporting any defects in the kitchen or equipment
- Customer service: Maintaining a high level of customer service
- Training: Attending training courses as identified for appropriate development
- Communication: Communicating clearly and effectively in a kitchen environment

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
