**Job Summary**:
The Restaurant Captain is responsible for supervising the service team, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining high service standards. Acting as a link between the guests and the service staff, the Captain ensures smooth operations during shifts and handles guest interactions professionally.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Welcome guests and assist with seating arrangements.
- Take and confirm food and beverage orders courteously and accurately.
- Supervise and guide waiters/stewards in providing efficient and friendly service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Check prepared dishes before serving to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Train new staff and ensure the team follows service protocols and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of the dining area before and after service.
- Assist with billing, table turnovers, and closing duties.
- Promote daily specials or upsell food and beverage items when appropriate.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in restaurant service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Well-groomed and presentable with a professional attitude.

**Work Environment**:

- Front-of-house restaurant setting.
- High interaction with guests and service/kitchen staff.
- Fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere with standing for long hours.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
