**Executive Field Quality**

**POSITION PURPOSE**:

- Plan & execute the activities of field quality like crop inspection with special focus on disease and trainings to field team during hybrid and parent seed production & conduct audits during production and post harvest operation.
- Sustain and Improve Clean Seed programs in field production by networking with experts and through continual improvement programs.
- Facilitate PGO and Field emergence test (FET), Execute customer complaint management & its corrective actions.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Conduct crop inspection of hybrid and parent seed production fields at defined intervals/set calendar as per Field Scoring System (FSS) guide lines.
- Prepare corrective & preventive action for the observed/deviation and update the data in FIDO.
- Review & coordinate for Field Quality Information updates in FIDO. Escalate identified non-conforming products/ processes to all concerned and trigger corrective/ preventive actions at Field and Plant Operations.
- Support field sampling and dispatch of problem inventory of suspected disease/genetic issue sample to QA lab.
- Conduct audits of Production fields and 3rd party operations of Veg crop during critical crop stages, seed extraction, sanitization etc.
- Coordinate with Production and QA global/ regional / country teams to develop CSP plans / strategies.
- Conduct Gap analysis on Clean Seed Program (CSP) during production, seed extraction, sanitization, drying etc and make corrective and preventive action plans with Production team.
- Plan and arrange technical trainings on CSP /FSS/ Sanitation/ Diagnostic tests, Moisture tests etc to Field Quality & Production teams.
- Guide field team on Integrated pest and disease management.
- Coordinate implementation and trainings of QMS, HSE and ETS in field quality processes.
- Conduct purity grow outs (PGO), field emergence trials (FET)
- Execute complaint management root case analysis tests from Genetic purity perspective.
- Field inspection (Audits) & training to support Genetic, Seed health & Physiological Quality.
- Accuracy & timely result availability of Grow out test to the stake holders.

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Masters Degree in Agriculture/ General science.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a seed production/Quality Assurance.
- Lerner, Result Oriented & Self motivated
- Knowledge of continuous improvement principles
