As a Technician at Tata Motors, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient maintenance and repair of vehicles. Your role will involve working on a range of automotive systems and components, diagnosing issues, and performing technical tasks with attention to detail, safety, and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Vehicle Diagnosis and Repair**:

- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform repairs on vehicles, including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and other essential components.
- Replace or repair defective parts and components as necessary.
- **Maintenance and Servicing**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, and other scheduled services.
- Ensure vehicles meet performance and safety standards through proper maintenance and servicing.
- **Technical Support**:

- Provide technical assistance to customers and support in resolving complex mechanical issues.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- **Quality Control and Safety**:

- Conduct thorough quality checks after repairs to ensure all systems are working properly and meet Tata Motors’ quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of services performed, repairs completed, and parts replaced.
- Assist in inventory management by reporting stock levels and ordering necessary parts.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and service advisors to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding the issues found in their vehicles and the steps needed for repair or maintenance.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Requirements**:

- ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification or a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile Engineering.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in automotive repair, maintenance, or a similar role in the automobile industry.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Good knowledge of automotive systems, engines, transmissions, and related components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical service manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Tata Motors’ products, processes, and service standards is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position, with possible shift work depending on business needs.
- Must adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
