- As a sourcing buyer you will manage the end-to-end sourcing projects. Your focus should be on ensuring delivery of sourcing projects to the client with maximum value addition in terms of savings / benefits to the client._
- Responsibilities_
- _Procure goods and services, obtains quotation, develops proposals and/or negotiates contracts of low to moderate value/risk consistent with client requirements._
- _Good understanding and experience on RFP / RFX / RFQ is required to be managed via formal ERP / procurement tool based sourcing. Understanding of eAuction is mandatory._
- _Understanding on upstream and downstream sourcing process, namely S2P and P2P process._
- _Manage Proactive engagements activity for operational planned spend opportunities within defined operational spend levels_
- _Manage transactional buying desk activities and support wider category management including raising purchase orders_
- _Quotation analysis and recommendations, consideration suitability/reliability of suppliers to meet operational requirements and as per Client Procurement Policy/Sourcing guidelines_
- _Negotiate with Suppliers on both Commercial and Non Commercial Clauses as per guidance_
- _Obtain approval from Client Category Manager on finalized projects_
- _Support Drafting of Contract as Client and Senior Buyer instructions_
- _Record Savings in the Client Savings Data Base_
- _Engagement with operational teams to review pipeline and track savings opportunities_
- _Work closely with category managers and business units to establish and deliver procurement requirements, strategic benefits and compliance to existing procurement contracts_
- _Should be able to effectively manage internal / external customers & stake holders_
- _Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned with the procurement remit eg analysis / reporting etc_
- _Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement._
- _Excellent communication is key to this role - Both written and verbal._
- _Mentoring young sourcing professionals within the team._
- _Should reflect great enthusiasm and positive attitude._
- _Adopt to Globalized work culture and environment._
- _Strong negotiation skills._
- _Good problem-solving ability using rationale and wisdom._

- _Digital mindset - Having good exposure to ERPs / other tools would be excellent_
- _Lean philosophy / Project management skills would be added advantage._
- Qualifications we seek in you_
- Minimum Qualifications_
- _Bachelor’s or equivalent education_
- _Hands on experience on Coupa (preference) /ARIBA or similar systems for procurement / CRM tools_
- _Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word._
- _Green belt / Black belt / certified lean professional will be preferred._
- _Any sourcing / project management certification / course will be a preference._
- _US / UK sourcing experience will be preferred._
