The Storage / Backup Engineer should be responsible for overall system administration, management, system configuration and scalability, system performance, load-balancing, troubleshooting, debugging and monitoring of servers. System Specialist should also be familiar with system hardware, SAN System (Storage Management Software, Performance tuning, Volume configuration), backup system along with the capability of SAN/NAS System Monitoring, Fabric Monitoring, Report generation, First call handling, Escalation and Backup and Recovery. He / She should implement the back-up plan for storing and retrieving of data, maintain servers, machines, printers and also responsible in resolving the real time (RT) requests raised by users as per SLA.

**Job description**:

- Must have experience working in enforced change and risk control environments.
- Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated; ability to maintain excellence in service with moderate supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups. Ability to provide FANATICAL support.
- Strong knowledge in technology troubleshooting methodologies, design, and implementation.
- Able to resolve problems in an efficient and timely manner. Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without dropping attention to detail or risk eversion.
- Basic knowledge of VMware, Windows and Linux operation systems, File systems, SQL, MySQL, Oracle, and Exchange.
- Working knowledge of Networking, Fiber Channel concepts, and technologies, TCP/IP, DNS
- Hands on experience on a combination of Infinidat Infinibox Storage Arrays, NetApp. Ability to provide FANATICAL support.
- Hands on experience with Commvault, Netbackup or other backup software.
- Troubleshooting of backup and restore failures on multiple platforms with varied configurations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and under stressful situations while supporting a customer base of over 18,000.

**Job Requirements**:
**The desired profile of the system specialist should be B.E./B.Tech/M.C.A with relevant storage/backup L1/L2 (OEM) certifications.**

**4+ years experience in System /Solutions Administration.**

**Job Type**: Regular / Permanent
