Site Supervisor

**Job Summary**

To assist concerned Engineer in laying out the building, marking centerline, recording initial levels before PCC is laid for foundation.

To check footing position as per centerline drawing and check reinforcement and dimensions of footing and before concreting

Ensure proper Grade of Concrete, proportioning is adopted and check the form work and supervise concrete work for foundation.

To check the column starters, reinforcement positioning, equal and specified covering, distances between columns & diagonals before concreting starts.

To check column rings spacing as per drawings, column form work for its dimensions, distances, cover to reinforcement, verticality before allowing concreting.

To supervise concreting work, ensure proper grade, proper vibration & finishing.

While deforming, check the surfaces for its proper finish. Repair honeycombs ( within tolerable limits
- or report to the Engineer)with proper repairing/ grouting compounds.

Ensure proper hacking of concrete surfaces and curing for specified period by wrapping gunny bags/ hessian cloth and watering.

Decide the beam bottom levels considering floor heights in advance and Check the levels of beam bottoms during form work.

Check the sizes of beams as per drawing, check the dimensions of slab and its level and ensure proper shurreting oil is applied before laying reinforcement.

Check the reinforcement of beams, spacing of stirrups, anchorage length, pins, curtail bars, length of top additional reinforcements, slab reinforcements, bent up bar locations etc., as per drawing.

Check all outer sides for its proper line & level. Ensure proper cover for all reinforcements, placement of chairs to keep the reinforcement in position during concreting.

Prepare spacers/chairs and keep ready to ensure proper concrete thickness of slabs, before concreting work starts. Ensure proper Grade of concrete is placed in proper sequence and vibrated thoroughly to remove all air voids and achieve proper compactness.

Ensure proper curing by pending water on the slab for specified period of at least 10 days.

While deshuttering, ensure specified period and check for any honey combs and repair with proper repairing compound.

Ensure proper hacking of all concrete surfaces coming in contact both brick work & plaster work.

PLASTER WORK:

- Ensure chicken mesh/ fibre mesh is provided at all junctions of RCC and Brickwork.

Ensure hacking of all concrete surfaces.

Ensure proper prior curing of brick walls previous day wherever cement mortar plaster is to be applied.

Ensure proper proportion of Mortar is used.

Check for even surface, proper line, level and plumb

Ensure roughening of cement plaster with wire, where ever second coat of plaster is to be applied or tiling/ cladding is to be done.

Ensure proper curing all cement plastered surfaces.

REPORTING AND RECORDS:

- Maintain daily record of labour employed in various activities of work, material consumption against each activity and amount of work done.

Report to Engineer concerned about the work done, next day's planning and discuss issues if any.

PLUMBING, WATER PROOFING, INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION WORKS:

- Execute the work as per Engineer's instructions, check with drawings

FLOORING, DADO:

- Ensure through cleaning of floor surfaces before taking up flooring work.

Mark the floor levels considering all the flats in a particular floor

Issue proper material for flooring / dado work

Keep a control of wastage of tiles. Utilize the cut pieces wherever possible.

Check for uniform tile joints. Fill up the joints with proper filling material after flooring is done.

UP KEEPING OF SITE:

- It is utmost important to ensure all the approaches to site, building and flats are clear off obstacles, remove unwanted materials.

SAFETY:

- Ensure all the laborer's wear proper safety gear.

Education
- 12th/ Graduation

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
