**Embedded Functional Safety_Pune (Pimpri)**

**Years of Experience **-3-6 years

**Location **-Pune (Pimpri)

**Job roles & responsibilities**:
(1) Interface with cross-functional teams on functional safety matters across the entire V-Model

(2) Process development, Concept design, System Design, Agreement and maintenance of DIA’s with worldwide

suppliers, Production, Technical publications and our dealer / service network

(3) Application areas include but are not limited to engine management systems, chassis systems such as ABS, electronic

suspension & body control modules, autonomous riding systems & cyber security.

(4) Deliver Function Safety work products on TML projects, including:

- Item Definitions.
- HARA’s.
- Functional Safety Concept (including Safety Analyses & System Architectural Designs).
- Impact Analyses.
- Development Interface Agreements.
- Safety Cases.

(5) Develop and follow best practice working procedures to support functional safety activities.

(6) Support and propose developments to the TML Functional Safety lifecycle.

(7) Support Verification and Confirmation reviews with suppliers and internal reviews within TML

(8) Report project progress and timing to the Vehicle Leads.

(9) Communicate technical issues with the Lead Engineer - Functional Safety.

**Role / Position title **-Functional Safety Engineer

**Position Summary: Brief Role Description**

Functional Safety Manager is responsible for development of safe systems

from early concept to complete system design for production programs.

You will work closely with the E&E integration, vehicle teams, suppliers,

production, and service to ensure the TML Functional Safety Lifecycle is

met.

**Essential & Desirable Education/Qualifications/ Work experience/technical skills i.e. what are the 'must haves'**

**for this role**:
**Education**

Engineering - Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical

**Preferred Industry**:Automotive - OEs

**Skill Sets required to perform the role : TECHNICAL**

Experience in the ISO26262 lifecycle

through concept, system, hardware

and software design OR Similar

experience in aerospace, defense,

power/nuclear sectors etc.
- Use of tools for hazard

identification, safety analyses,

requirements management, change

& impact management.
- Experience working in multi[1]

functional project teams.
- Knowledge of CAN communication.
- Working with suppliers through a

DIA
- Experience with PREEvision or other

MBSE tools.
- Experience in an automotive

environment.
- Proficient in Systems design
- modelling (UML / SYSML)
