**On Job Trainee / Assistant Managing Editor**

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing the relationship between scientific researchers, scientific community and societies across the globe
- Maintaining databases, spread sheets and other records up to date
- Proofing and copy-editing documents
- Supporting editing decisions, for example reviewing manuscripts and recommending whether they should be published
- Writing and editing copy
- Proofreading and checking the accuracy of articles
- Researching images
- Should have awareness on various data collection
- A good standard of written and spoken English

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Should have Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Biotech/Biochem/any life sciences,

M.Sc./MBA/B.Tech/B.Pharma/M.Pharma/PharmaD

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability, Team working skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proofreading skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of typesetting procedures and terms is helpful
