**On Job Trainee / Assistant Managing Editor Roles & Responsibilities**:
1. On Job Trainee / Assistant Managing Editor is responsible for communicating and building relationships with renowned scientists through mail and other modes of communication.
3. On Job Trainee / Assistant Managing Editor is responsible to follow the activities of the Editorial Board members and assist them in assigning reviewers for received submissions as needed.
4. Maintaining continuous flow of the manuscripts without any delay right from submission to the galley proof generation should be completed with utmost consideration by the Editorial Assistant.
5. Editing and proofreading of manuscripts at the production stage.
6. Regularly performing on targets assigned, focus on revenue generation and maintaining journals as per the publishing standards.
7. Managing uniformity in Issue release, campaigning to promote the journal, collecting relevant data and developing a database of Editors, reviewers and authors is a part of the regular duty of an Editorial Assistant.
8. Maintaining continuous communication with the Team leaders regarding due dates, Issue release dates or any other important task assigned.
9. Completing supporting tasks assigned by the management within the provided time.
10. Promoting Journals in various Social Networking platforms and proposing novel ideas for journal improvement.
11. Other tasks

**Skills Required**:
1. Excellent Communication Skills
2. Knowledge on MS office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.,)
3. Able to multitask and meet Project/Target deadlines
4. Attention to Details
5. Convincing Skills
6. A good academic background

**Required Soft Skills**:
Highly committed and self-motivated
Demonstrates willingness to take ownership for role responsibilities
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Proactive in identifying process improvements
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications Required:
**B. Tech/B.E/B Pharma** - Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Technology, Biomedical, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Microbiology and all life sciences backgrounds
**M. Tech/MSc/M Pharma** - Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Technology, Biomedical, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Microbiology and all life sciences backgrounds.

**Preferable: Immediate Joiners**
