**JOB DESCRIPTION** Job Responsibilities**:

- Perform credit analysis on bespoke single name credits situations and provide trading recommendations
- Perform credit analysis of portfolio of credit investments and identify business risks and mitigants as well as value a portfolio of liquid and illiquid credit assets, assessing overall risks of these assets and providing investment recommendations to the group
- Work on the entire lifecycle of credit trades including but not limited sector analysis, valuations, investment proposals, term sheets, liaising with different teams - Legal/product approval/credit and market risk etc.
- Monitor portfolio by ongoing review of sector trends and regular updates of specific loan assets based on news flow and regular financials
- Preparation of other ad hoc support materials / presentations to group and clients
- Understanding firm's approach and policies for managing risks in relevant business and applicable legal and regulatory rules, and follows policies

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- At least 3-4 years of experience in a credit role (Credit Trading, Desk Analyst, Credit Research, Lev Fin etc.)
- Expert Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office skills
- Exceptional analytical skills and a natural analytical curiosity
- Someone who is eager to learn, and has great self-motivation to work and thrive on the challenge of competitive pressure
- Superior time management and multi-tasking skills to juggle live transactions, daily tasks
- Works well in a fast-paced team dynamic with personal efficiency

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- MBA or other equivalent finance qualification from a Tier-1 institute or Chartered Accountant preferred
- Experience in Banking/ Capital Markets/ Investment Management is preferred but not required
- Superior time management and multi-tasking skills to juggle live transactions, daily tasks, while maintaining focus on client needs
