**OPERATIONS**
Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide Banking, Securities, & Asset management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management & controls to preserve &enhance the firm's assets & its reputation. For every new product launched & every trade executed, it is Operations that develops & manages the processes &controls that enable business flow.

**OUR IMPACT**
Commodities Operations Team is responsible for ensuring the integrity & accuracy of risk undertaken by the Commodities Business across the world. Team works very closely with Sales & Trading teams to facilitate all aspects of Operational Risk & Control Framework. The products traded by the Commodities Desks include Oil, Gas, Power, Metals, Agriculture, Coal, Emissions & Index Products. The functions involve:
Facilitating new business
Monitoring internal vs external matching of Trades
Trade-flow exceptions monitoring
Drafting documents for executed trades
Confirming economic & legal terms of trades with Clients
Financial & Physical settlements

**JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES **
Find & resolve booking discrepancies across complex Derivative businesses
Daily interaction with Trading & Sales to ensure timely trade matching, downstream flow & clearing
Coordination with internal & external parties e.g. Exchanges & Brokers for new market setups or daily issue resolution
Engage with Front Office & Technology to help facilitate the resolution of technical production issues
Manage, monitor & investigate reporting breaks & process failures; identify & implement corrective actions
Ensure that processes are continually reviewed & improved, risk is manage & results are achieved that meet expectations for timeliness, quality & cost effectiveness within the department
Develop a deep knowledge of Commodities & Derivative transactions to support New Business & Projects

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS **
Bachelor’s degree with competitive GPA
5+ years experience in Commodities Operations (preferably with expertise in Drafting or Settlements processes) supporting Financial/Physical markets & products

Experience in understanding & breaking down complex structured products
High-Level understanding of ISDA terms
Strong analytical & organizational skills, critical thinking, ability to suggest improvements & identify risks
Math or Quant ability to access risk accurately
Team player with a collaborative style & strong interpersonal skills
Strong Service orientation, sense of urgency, ability to manage clients’ expectations
Strong written & verbal communication skills with ability to be clear &concise
Self-starter who thinks ahead, anticipates questions, finds alternative solutions & identifies clear objectives
Able to successfully multi-task, work towards challenging goals & persist in the face of obstacles
Ability to demonstrate strong technical skills & keen attention to detail.
