Procurement & Partnership Architect

We’re searching for an imaginative **Procurement & Partnership Architect** to join our innovative architectural and interior design firm. In this role, you won’t just be procuring materials—you’ll be curating experiences. You’ll collaborate with local artisans, global craftsmen, and cutting-edge designers to ensure every project is an exquisite blend of creativity, sustainability, and quality. As the architect of our sourcing and partnerships, you’ll build the backbone of our design process, where vision meets craftsmanship and innovation thrives.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Material Maven**:

- Curate a distinctive array of high-quality materials, finishes, and furnishings that tell a story in every space.
- Partner with local artisans and global suppliers to source rare, bespoke materials that are integral to our creative projects.
- Negotiate contracts and build relationships with these makers, ensuring not only the best pricing but also collaboration on custom designs that make each project truly unique.

**2. Partnership Pioneer**:

- Forge meaningful partnerships with local artisans, craftsmen, and small-scale manufacturers, helping elevate their craft while bringing authenticity and uniqueness to our projects.
- Collaborate closely with designers, fabricators, and construction teams to create bespoke solutions—whether it’s custom lighting, hand-crafted tiles, or one-of-a-kind furniture.
- Represent our firm at design shows, craft fairs, and industry events to expand our network of creators and thought leaders, always searching for new talents and innovations.

**3. Creative Collaboration**:

- Work hand-in-hand with our design and project management teams to ensure that every material and partnership is chosen with purpose, aligning with the creative vision.
- Facilitate collaboration between our designers and local craftsmen to create custom pieces that enhance the narrative of each space.
- Coordinate with artisans on the development of prototypes, ensuring their work integrates seamlessly into our broader design vision.

**4. Sustainability & Innovation Champion**:

- Champion the use of sustainable, locally sourced materials, building a network of eco-conscious artisans who share our commitment to environmental stewardship.
- Seek out cutting-edge, innovative materials that align with both our aesthetic goals and our dedication to sustainable design, introducing designers to fresh possibilities.
- Stay ahead of trends by constantly exploring new ways of integrating traditional craftsmanship with modern design solutions.

**5. Relationship Artist**:

- Cultivate deep, ongoing relationships with local artisans, global suppliers, and industry partners, fostering a creative ecosystem that supports both our projects and the wider design community.
- Collaborate with designers, craftsmen, and project stakeholders to manage expectations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth delivery of materials.
- Keep communication flowing between all parties—whether it’s a local potter creating custom tiles or a furniture maker crafting bespoke pieces—so every detail is perfectly executed.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- A degree in business administration, supply chain, architecture, interior design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or partnerships, ideally within a creative industry like architecture or interior design.
- A passion for craftsmanship, with an extensive knowledge of sourcing from local artisans and designers.
- Stellar communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with creatives and business professionals alike.
- A keen eye for detail and an ability to juggle multiple projects, ensuring high-quality results while keeping an eye on budgets and timelines.
