Key Responsibilities:
**Legal Compliance Duties**:
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including labour laws, data protection laws, and other legal requirements.
Policy Development & Enforcement: Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating company policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Legal Audits & Risk Management: Conduct regular legal audits and risk assessments to identify potential issues or violations, proposing corrective actions where necessary. Compliance Documentation: Maintain and manage legal compliance records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
Legal Advisory: Provide advice and guidance to internal teams on legal compliance matters, ensuring that business activities align with applicable laws and regulations. Investigation & Reporting: Assist in the investigation of legal or compliance violations and prepare reports for senior management, recommending actions to resolve issues.
**Payroll Duties**:
- Payroll Administration: Oversee and manage the entire payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate processing for all employees.
- Tax & Statutory Compliance: Ensure payroll complies with tax laws, employee benefits, and statutory deductions (e.g., social security, pensions, taxes) in accordance with relevant legal requirements.
- Payroll System Management: Utilize payroll software to input, manage, and verify payroll data, ensuring efficient processing and error-free results.
- Payroll Reporting: Generate and submit accurate payroll reports to management and relevant government authorities, such as tax filings and employee benefit statements.
- Employee Queries: Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Payroll Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll data with finance and accounting records regularly, ensuring accuracy and consistency across departments.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and compliant records for all payroll and legal documentation, ensuring accessibility and confidentiality.
Pay: ₹10,208.67 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
