**1. Import Documentation & Customs Clearance**

Prepare, verify, and manage import documents:
Commercial Invoice

Packing List

Bill of Lading / Airway Bill

Certificate of Origin

Insurance Certificate

**Import Licenses (if applicable)**

File and track Bill of Entry (BOE) through ICEGATE.

Liaise with Customs House Agents (CHAs) to ensure timely and accurate customs clearance.

**2. Coordination with Suppliers & Forwarders**

Communicate with overseas suppliers to ensure documentation is correct and received on time.

Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines for vessel/air shipment schedules, ETAs, and document release.

**3. Customs & Regulatory Compliance**

Classify products using correct HSN/ITC (HS) codes.

Monitor applicable Basic Customs Duty (BCD), IGST, CESS, and other import levies.

Stay compliant with DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) regulations and RBI import norms.

**4. Handling of Licenses, Schemes & Incentives**

Assist in documentation for schemes like:
EPCG (Export Promotion Capital Goods)

Advance Authorization

Duty Drawback / Refunds

Maintain detailed records for any licenses or exemptions claimed.

**5. Shipment Tracking & Delivery Coordination**

Track shipments in real-time and ensure timely delivery to the factory/warehouse.

Minimize detention, demurrage, and port storage charges by prompt clearance and follow-up.

**6. Banking & Payment Coordination**

Coordinate with finance/accounts team for:
Remittance advice

Letter of Credit (LC) documentation

Bank attested documents for customs (AD code registration)

Track and record duty payments, shipping charges, and freight costs.

**7. Record Maintenance & Audit Readiness**

Maintain import documentation records for a minimum of 5 years for audit and compliance.

Prepare MIS reports on imports, duties paid, clearance status, etc.

Support internal and external audits (customs/excise/statutory).

**8. ERP & Portal Handling**

Work in ERP systems like Tally, SAP, or customized ERP for purchase/import entries.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
