Job Profile of a Quality Executive in Sweet Line

1.**Quality Control (QC)**
- Conduct routine **in-process and final product inspections**.
- Monitor **critical control points (CCPs)** in the production line.
- Check **parameters like weight, size, color, texture, and taste** of sweets.
- Ensure correct packaging and labeling as per specifications.

2. **Quality Assurance (QA)**
- Implement **GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)** and **HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)** protocols.
- Maintain and update **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)**.
- Conduct **internal audits** to ensure adherence to food safety norms.
- Coordinate with external bodies during **FSSAI, ISO, or customer audits**.

3. **Lab Testing**
- Conduct or supervise **microbiological and chemical testing** of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
- Verify results and initiate **corrective actions** for out-of-spec batches.

4. **Documentation and Reporting**
- Maintain detailed records of **daily QC checks**, **batch production**, **non-conformities**, and **corrective actions**.
- Prepare **monthly quality reports** for management review.

5. **Supplier and Raw Material Management**
- Approve or reject raw materials based on quality checks.
- Ensure traceability of materials used in each batch.

6. **Training and Development**
- Train production staff on **quality standards**, **personal hygiene**, and **food safety protocols**.

Skills Required
- Knowledge of **FSSAI guidelines**, **ISO 22000**, **BRC**, etc.
- Attention to detail
- Strong **analytical and problem-solving skills**:

- Familiarity with **lab equipment** and testing methods
- Good communication for interdepartmental coordination

Educational Background
- **B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry**, or related field.
- **Diploma in Food Technology**

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
