**Job Summary**: The Pharmacy Purchase Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing the procurement of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and equipment for the pharmacy department. This role ensures the availability of necessary items while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Management**:

- Identify and evaluate suppliers of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
- Negotiate purchase agreements and contracts to ensure favorable terms and pricing.
- Place orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of products.
- **Inventory Control**:

- Monitor inventory levels and predict future needs based on usage patterns and demand.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
- Manage stock rotation and ensure proper storage conditions to maintain product quality.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure all purchased items comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and vendor transactions.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and adjust purchasing practices accordingly.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**:

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Address any issues or discrepancies related to orders or deliveries promptly.
- Evaluate supplier performance and recommend changes or improvements as needed.
- **Cost Management**:

- Monitor and control purchasing costs to align with budgetary constraints.
- Analyze cost data and identify opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvements.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities and expenditure.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with pharmacy staff and management to understand procurement needs.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
- Provide support and information to resolve any procurement-related issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably within a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and inventory management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for inventory and procurement management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
