**Job Role: Purchase Executive**

**Department: Production**

**Purpose of the Position**:
To manage the procurement of raw materials used in poultry feed supplements by identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery. A background in science helps in understanding the specifications and quality requirements of raw materials.

**Job Description (Duties & Major Job Functions)**:
1. Identify and evaluate suppliers for raw materials such as vitamins, minerals, flavours, additives, etc.

2. Collect quotations, negotiate prices, and place purchase orders as per company standards.

3. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of raw materials to support uninterrupted production.

4. Maintain records of purchases, suppliers, price lists, and product quality.

5. Coordinate with the Quality Control and Production departments for material specifications and approvals.

6. Ensure proper documentation such as purchase orders, GRNs, and supplier invoices.

7. Track and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

8. Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and service.

9. Follow up with vendors for timely dispatch, documentation, and payment support.

10.Assist in developing cost-effective and reliable supplier networks.

11.Stay updated on market trends and price fluctuations for key raw materials.

12.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

**Required Skills**:
1. Understanding of raw materials used in animal feed supplements

2. Good knowledge of procurement procedures and negotiation

3. Ability to evaluate product quality and technical specifications

4. Strong vendor management and coordination skills

5. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or inventory software

6. Basic knowledge of GST, invoices, and purchase documentation

7. Good communication and interpersonal skills

8. Analytical thinking and market awareness

9. Record-keeping and reporting ability

10.Attention to detail and follow-up skills

**Qualification**:

- B.Sc., M.sc, B-Pharmacy or M-Pharmacy in Agriculture, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related fields
- Additional certification or diploma in Material Management or Supply Chain (preferred).

**Experience (in Years)**:

- 2-4 years of experience in purchase or procurement, preferably in the feed, pharma, nutraceutical.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
