**Reports to**: Service Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Automobile Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between the customer and the service department. They are responsible for understanding customer concerns, recommending necessary services or repairs, and ensuring a smooth and satisfactory service experience. The goal is to build trust, enhance customer loyalty, and increase service department revenue.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Interaction**: Greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, and document all relevant information.
- **Service Recommendations**: Advise customers on maintenance schedules, required repairs, and available service options, explaining technical details in simple terms.
- **Estimate and Approval**: Prepare accurate cost estimates, obtain customer approval for services, and communicate any changes or additional repairs needed.
- **Coordination**: Liaise between customers, technicians, and parts departments to ensure timely and efficient service.
- **Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of services provided, including work orders, parts used, and customer communications.
- **Follow-Up**: Ensure customers are informed about the status of their vehicles and follow up after service to ensure satisfaction.
- **Sales and Upselling**: Promote additional services and accessories that enhance vehicle performance or longevity.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
