About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Banking & Compliance
Ensure timely bank submissions and follow-ups for inward remittances.
Prepare and maintain suspense receipts and update bank books based on inward remittance/payment advice.
Handle import shipment documentation and ensure inward remittances from specific countries are received as per guidelines.
Accounting & Audit
Update and maintain FOC sheets.
Prepare GST R1 workings, sales entries, and generate E-invoices.
Create and verify commercial and sample invoices (DSR).
Manage credit/debit notes and MIS report preparation.
Conduct production and dispatch audits to confirm payment received/receivable.
Perform scrutiny of sundry debtors and ensure accurate ledger entries.
Export & Logistics Coordination
Verify invoicing bills of EMS Post, DHL, and Asia Net as per documentation.
Scan and maintain commercial and sample invoices.
Follow up for Air Waybill (AWB) numbers and EP copies as per dispatch documents.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Proficiency in Tally and strong accounting fundamentals.
Knowledge of DGFT procedures and foreign trade regulations.
Understanding of custom duty and export-related taxation.
Familiarity with online banking transactions and declaration processes.
Strong analytical and documentation skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in an organization engaged in export business.
Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations, export documentation, and customs compliance.
Key Attributes
Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate across teams.
High level of accuracy and confidentiality in handling financial data.
