Derby Jeans Community - A leading responsible Men's Wear Brand, headquartered in Chennai is looking for an experienced Menswear Fashion Designer who will be part of the design team which is responsible of bringing trendy, innovative and creative fashion line.

**Responsibilities**:

- To work as a team to complete the Forecast & Research activity for the season.
- To be a part of the process of trim, fabric & product development and follow up with vendors for such requirements.
- To come up with designs and styles for each product based on the season requirements and develop and issue tech-packs for the same.
- To be a part of market visits & industry visits along with the team. Travel will be a very a necessary part of the job.
- Responsible to conduct styling sessions and act as a stylist during photoshoots.
- Be a part of activities related to product development, sampling, gold seals, PP meetings, production, measurements etc with the Production, Merchandising and QA team.
- To coordinate with the Merchandising department on activities related to trims & fabrics.
- To hand over the necessary packages to the production and merchandising team in the form of Gold Seals, Tech Packs, Trim plan and other related communications etc.
- To give comments on developments and PP samples and coordinate with merchandising, QA & vendors to get solutions on setting the production line.
- To be a part of team and conduct retail training programs for the frontend team.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design from NIFT / Equivalent Institutions.
- Minimum of one year of experience with any brand house preferably menswear.
- Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & Microsoft office.
- A strong portfolio which shows your creative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
