**Guest Service**:
- Greet and welcome guests, ensuring they are seated promptly and comfortably.
- Provide detailed information about the menu, making suggestions, and answering questions regarding food and beverages.
- Ensure guests receive high-quality service and handle any special requests or complaints.
- Monitor and assess guest satisfaction to improve service and maintain quality standards.
- **Team Leadership**:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of waitstaff and other service employees.
- Conduct pre-service briefings to communicate any special instructions or menu changes.
- Train new staff members on proper service techniques, restaurant policies, and guest interaction.
- **Service Management**:
- Ensure that all orders are accurately taken, transmitted to the kitchen, and delivered to guests in a timely manner.
- Monitor the dining area to ensure all tables are properly attended, and assist servers during busy shifts.
- Manage table setups and ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to ensure consistency with restaurant standards.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient communication of guest orders and any special dietary requirements.
- Collaborate with the management team to enhance overall guest experiences and address any operational challenges.
- Assist with inventory checks, order supplies when needed, and ensure proper stock levels of restaurant materials.
- **Administrative Duties**:
- Prepare daily reports and summaries related to sales, service quality, and guest feedback.
- Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during service hours.
- Handle billing and payment procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings, especially Asian cuisine, is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software and POS systems is an advantage.
**Additional Skills**:
- A passion for hospitality and a genuine interest in Burmese cuisine and culture.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure and customer complaints with grace.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
