
People Engagement Associate Remote

As the People Engagement Associate at Axelerant, you will be responsible for constructing, coordinating, and supporting people engagement initiatives. You will create, plan and facilitate the following:
- inspiring engagement programs
- webinars/training
- perks/benefits
- and celebrations of all kinds

**What you would do**:
- Support the development, administration, and coordination of team member engagement programs and activities.
- Leverage internal communication vehicles such as Slack and Zoom to keep content relevant and ensure team members’ awareness, understanding, and participation in Axelerant’s engagement programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of team member relation programs by using surveys and analyzing team member feedback to identify workplace improvements through the Officevibe tool.
- Monitor Officevibe Engagement scores and collaborate with Managers/Directors when there’s low participation on Officevibe surveys.
- Organize, coordinate, and host team-building activities for project teams to enhance the team-building experience.
- Assist with events and projects associated with team member appreciation, engagement, and recognition - including birthday cards, new parent gift cards, new team member onboarding, and thank you notes.
- Effectively facilitate scheduling and communication for Zoom Webinars/Knowledge sharing sessions on Slack.
- Provide exceptional customer service to team members in all matters and communications.
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors.
- Ability to engage different groups through Watercolor conversations, participating in Slack channel conversations.
- Participate in various company initiatives as requested.
**Who you might be**:
- Natural team builder that people are drawn to with the ability to be flexible and roll with whatever comes your way.
- 2+ years of experience in administrative support.
- Prior experience with employee engagement, talent management, or similar roles.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Visible passion for workplace happiness and desire to foster a work environment consistent with Axelerant's core values - Enthusiasm, Kindness, and Openness.
- Proven talent to think on your feet and handle issues with resourceful solutions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital.
- Ability to present material effectively to groups in person and via video calls (Zoom.)
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Proficiency with the Google suite and the ability to pick up new systems and software easily would be highly desirable.

**Special Considerations**:
All of Axelerant’s roles are considered work from anywhere. But, we’re mainly looking to build our teams around Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia unless specified otherwise. And, we typically expect people to have a two-hour crossover with 11 AM to 7 PM India (UTC+05:30) each workday for meetings and coaching. Further, our salaries are India-based with regional factoring, though some overrides exist.
