**Job description**

**Objectives.**

Ensure that the project’s budget sales and related estimated costs are followed and met.

**Information Gathering Sources;**

1- Estimation Department: Initial budget, cashflow projection and cost estimation details.

2- Accounting Department: Actual incurred costs and actual manhours.

3- Operations Department: Forecasted Sales Budget, meeting to discuss site visits findings with site managers and department managers.

4- Site visits: Collect all data based on own observations and measurements.

**Cost Control Tasks;**

**Budget Control;**

Alarm the Operations and Management about any variances and to highlight the reasons.

Support the Operations in the quantity take-off.

Support the accounting department by providing project’s contribution margin.

Review and approve all requisitions for materials and consumables items and ensure the budget is not exceeded.

Control the material consumption and the manpower productivity and report any waste.

To maintain a summary for each job showing the below points:

- Material Budget.
- Ordered Material
- Consumed material.
- Balance material to order.

Prepare the revised budget for sales and cost of sales as per site conditions and findings, update them regularly.

Compare and analyse the forecasted sales and cost to the actual results and alarm any major differences.

Meet regularly with the operations department and to discuss the cost to complete and areas where cost reduction is possible.

**Prepare the following reports**:

- Periodical reports generation
- Monthly cost reports
- Monthly Budget Analysis Reports
- Risk analysis reports
- Estimated Margin at completion reports
- Estimated Cost to complete Reports

**Qualifications**

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil)

Finance related Qualifications is added advantage.

5 years + relevant experience in cost control

Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling and reporting.

Good Computer Proficiency

Knowledge in the use of MS Excel.

Good Communication Skills.

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
