Hotel Delicia, a renowned multi-cuisine restaurant known for its culinary excellence, is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, menu development, food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency are maintained.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and innovate menu offerings to reflect current culinary trends while maintaining the restaurant's unique identity and brand.
- Plan and execute menus for daily dining, special events, and catering functions, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
- Maintain inventory levels and control food costs through efficient purchasing, storage, and portion control practices.
- Implement and enforce strict food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with local health regulations and company policies.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, recipes, and procedures to ensure consistency and excellence in execution.
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop strategies for improving guest satisfaction, increasing revenue, and maximizing profitability.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new ingredients, and cooking techniques, and incorporate them into menu development and kitchen operations as appropriate.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institute preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Creative culinary vision and a passion for food innovation and experimentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of diverse cuisines, cooking techniques, and ingredient sourcing.
- Proficiency in menu planning, recipe development, and food costing.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations, including HACCP guidelines.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
